During the spring season, many of our customers use our Spring
Cleanup services to refurbish their lawns and landscapes. Our Spring
Cleanup services include some prep work to the beds, edging and mulching
of the beds, and a cleanup.
Key Benefits
Prep Work:
To the Beds
We blow-out the leaves and light debris.
We remove garbage, twigs, and fallen fruit.
We de-weed the beds, and then treat them with a weed
preventor.
Edging:
We put a fresh edge on all the beds, approximately 5 inches
deep.
We do not use an mechanical edger.
The mechanical edger produces a shallow edge, which breaks
down quickly after a few rain storms.
The mechanical edger produces an edge that looks lousy.
We do our edging with a pick shovel.
The pick shovel produces a deeper edge, which looks much
more pleasing.
A deeper edge better contains the mulch to the bed, and
holds up under rough weather conditions.
We always provide a straight line or the proper curve to the
bed.
Mulching:
We spread Queen City Gold, double-processed mulch throughout all
beds.
We do not avoid areas behind bushes and hard-to-reach
places.
Cleanup:
We dispose of all debris we collected and all edgings as
well.
